Simple Guidance For You In Most Profitable Niche Markets

become a good affiliate marketer

Contrary to popular belief, most profitable niche markets are not overpopulated.

As a matter of fact, there are so many which are still available to be explored further. It’s all depends on what you are going after as well how detailed you want to be.

Check out my billion dollar niche category to get some ideas of how much there still is in popular niche markets.

But so many others are already making money at this.

Many think that since so and so is making money at a particular niche already, then obviously people will like the one who ’s been on longer.

This alone stops them from going after the niche.

So sad, cause marketing works in different ways. All of us think differently, but yet some of the processes of the written word works in a similar manner.

What I mean is there are so many different possibilities of researching a product on the internet.

You might not speak one person’s language, but you may speak another person’s language very well. I don’t mean by being bilingual; I mean the universal language of the internet.

This language is spoken by doing keyword searches to find information on products.

An example of this would be:

Popular niches long gone will give different results than All good niches are taken.

These phrases mean the same thing, but yet bring about different results when a search is done. So this would be an excellent way to get into the so-called popular niches.

By tweaking your keywords as well as varying your words, you attract those who speak your internet language.

There are so many niches to be explored further still. Remember not everyone is interested in the same thing. There are many people out there with varied interests, yet understand with a different intellect.

You are bound to get a few of the world population of 7 billion to like your niche. You can find a great way to search on Wealthy Affiliate. Read my review on Wealthy Affiliate University.

How to find niche products isn’t as difficult as one would think. Of course, a little bit of research is involved.

When you originally wanted to get into online selling, you had an idea of what you wanted to sell. No matter what don’t let this idea float away.

It’s where your passion lies; you won’t need a reason to write, you just will because you are that crazy about it

But on the other hand don’t limit yourself to this one passion; it may be an excellent idea for you. Who knows if there are actual buyers for it or not?

When it comes down to affiliate marketing, it all boils down to what people really need.

After doing much research on how to find trending products I have come up with the following ways to find hot products which I am more than happy to share with you.

  • Look in your backyard

Not literally in your backyard, but within your community. Go physically to stores around the area where you live. See what they are selling. These types of shops have been around for a long time. There is a reason for their longevity.

There are times where a new shop opens which people are talking about. Check out what all the hype is about.

We just had a Sephora open here in Abbotsford. The hype is all about the high-class makeup they carry. I’ve had my daughters drag me there to buy them some of the products.

  • Find the Influencers

Okay, you don’t want to sell products/service other than what you are passionate about. That’s all right. Find the influencers of your product/service. See how they are marketing what they are doing to get their sales.

Buzzsumo – This tool is free. Its main way of promoting itself is a research tool which helps to provide insights on SEO about which content is popular as well which influencer is helping to influence the content.

You can search here by topic, influencer or a website you are hoping to research.

Keyhole – You can start a free trial here to find out about which hashtags are being followed by which influencer. It will include conversations, topic content as well what influencers are saying about the product.

My favorite affiliate influencer is Zac Johnson, who was kind to respond to me when I decided to get serious about affiliate marketing.

Read about what he has to say about affiliate marketing.

  • Instagram

Many Instagrammers post not only about their pets, but there are some of them who create trends. It’s a very visual site filled with images of what people are wearing, eating or what other life stuff they are doing.

One way to use Instagram for your product is by using a hashtag. Once you use a hashtag, you can click on the hashtag to see how many other Instagrammers are linking to it.

  • Find Online Trend Watchers

This is a great way for you to get an idea of what’s trending online. By following these types of online publications, it can give you a jumpstart on products you might not have even considered yet.

Springwise – Source worldwide to help their readers find new business ventures. They bring forth ideas and concepts which are ready for the world arena though expansion, adaption or by way of investment.

MoreInspiration – Is precisely that, they provide inspirations by helping you discover new products, a design from all possible sources

These two are the ones I watch, so remember you are not limited here. There are much more out there.

  • Where Online Consumers Shop

Many of the top selling consumer sites have online tracking of what is selling at a high rate. This can help to give you an idea of how well your product would sell.

eBay– The largest online consumer auction site

Amazon – The largest online retailer site

Kickstarter – The most significant business crowdfunding site

Now that you know how to find niche products which will gain you passive income. Get going to make it happen.

  1. Hi, thanks so much for giving these tips on niche markets. I am building a blog on a niche that I really like but I didn’t do a research about the need for this. I just decided to write about it because is something I am passionate about. In your post you have given some specific tips about how to do that research such as looking around, searching for influencers and trending topics. I’m going to start doing that. Because so far I have my niche site built, I have 27 posts but I struggle to find products and affiliate programs related to my niche. I am just incorporating Amazon affiliate links but I think I could be doing more. Sometimes I wonder if I should pick another niche or keep working on my current one for a year to see how it goes. How long would you try in one particular niche, posting twice a week until you start a new niche? Thanks so much for your tips.

    1. If you have a passion for what you’re writing about, then the writing shouldn’t too hard. If you find yourself having to struggle with writing about your niche, then there could be an issue. Amazon affiliate links are great as they are there for everyone.

Sometimes you have to be accepted into an affiliate program, where Amazon lets you test it out for a few months. But if for any reason you don’t make a sale they kick you out, but then you can sign up with them under a different email. Thank you for your comment.

  2. This “affiliate marketing” thing is really all new to me and I am still learning the in and outs as well as the how to’s in order to make it work for me. This is the reason why I am interested to know what strategies successful affiliate marketers are applying.

Deciding which niche to build my affiliate website on was pretty easy. However, after having written a few product reviews, I am now running out of products to write about that at times I feel like I chose the wrong niche because it’s already saturated, but there’s no going back. I regularly go online, Facebook, Quora and IG to see what’s trending but I haven’t considered Buzzsumo, Keyhole or MoreInspiration.

Thank you for the practical tips on how to become a good affiliate marketer.

    1. At one time like yourself,The I was new to this as well. Glad that your niche was easy to decide on, as this is what scares many people away. Please let me know what issues you’re having with finding products to review. Who knows maybe I’ll be able to help you. Thank you for your comment.

  3. Hi Jag, I really enjoyed your article about niche markets and affiliate support. I am a new member at Wealthy Affiliate and have been pleasantly surprised at the amount of resources and training available. As far as finding a nice and building a site around that to generate income I would prefer working on what I’m passionate about. That way I can give my full attention to the site and its members. I’m also interested in coaching if you are able, I would like to make sure I have my website set up correctly.

    1. Glad that you enjoyed my article. There are somas resources available at Wealthy Affiliate. It’s pretty amazing what I hear from people who join it when they are beginners. The eye-opening thing here is that you learn you can be an affiliate too, niches are not overcrowded.

There’s always room for others’ perspectives of what they are marketing. Thank you for your comment.

  4. Interesting article!

States out all the problem I had when I was trying to get a niche for my business but now I was able to overcome it.

“Many think that since so and so is making money at a particular niche already, then obviously people will like the one who ’s been on longer.”

This was my greatest challenge, I was looking for an untouched niche hehehe, but I couldn’t find one. So I got to realize that no niche was untouched, you just have to work towards achieving your goals and be the best in what you do. Wonderful trick on creating your own language, I’ll put that into consideration. Thanks

    1. Yes, I agree many people have this issue was starting out in affiliate marketing. I myself have this problem, it was quite the climb to get over this little bump. But I’m glad I was able to, learned so much since then. Hope you found your niche.

  5. Mind-Boggling! You hit the nail on the head with this article Jag. So many people shy away from trying before even looking into the subject of affiliate marketing. They think that the industry is too saturated, that they won’t have a chance. I like your comparisons and suggestions to look at how business works in the real world. Look at the restaurant business. Are there not thousands, millions, billions of restaurants around the world? If you wanted to start a restaurant would you stop and say, “nope can’t do it, already too many restaurants”? Sure there are a lot of them but you still see new ones open every day and they still succeed. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, tools, and recommendation in regards to getting the proper training at Wealthy Affiliate.

    1. I quite agree many people leave affiliate marketing thinking it’s not for them. But I think it can be for almost anyone. My 17-year-old son has have been added for a few years now. He doesn’t even like to write, yet learn to write just because of this program.

As well he had no idea what affiliate meant just like myself, now I could calm an affiliate expert. As you say there are many restaurants out there if someone wanted to start a restaurant they will say, “no can’t do it.” If it is their dream they would go for it.

      Thank you for your comment.
